The recipe is yellow from 355, so skill points are then no longer guaranteed and you may need to make the recipe more times, requiring more materials than specified.

27x Major Dreamless Sleep Potion – 27 Dreaming Glory, 27 Nightmare Vein, 27 Imbued Vial
The recipe turns yellow at 365 and green at 372, so you may have to craft some more.
The recipe can be purchased from Leeli Longhaggle in Terokkar Forest or Daga Ramba in Blade’s Edge Mountain.
Alternatively you can transmute from 372 on. Transmutations require the use of a Philosopher’s Stone. Burning Crusade has a new, epic version: Alchemist’s Stone. The Recipe: Alchemist’s Stone requires you to be Revered with The Sha’tar and is sold by Almaador, located in the Terrace of Light in Shattrath.
You can also do any of the following transmutations to get to 375 (but they are green at 372 too):
- Recipe: Transmute Primal Air to Fire (The Sha’tar Revered)
- Recipe: Transmute Primal Earth to Water (Sporeggar Revered)
- Recipe: Transmute Primal Fire to Earth (Kurenai/Mag’har Revered)
- Recipe: Transmute Primal Water to Air (Cenarion Expedition Revered)
- Recipe: Transmute Primal Might (Skreah – Lower City, Shattrath)
Specialization-Quests
Specializations all require you to have a skill level of at least 325 and a character level of at least 68.
They start at your Master trainers location in Hellfire Peninsula: Alchemist Gribblein Honor Hold or Apothecary Antonivichin Thrallmar.
Once you have chosen a Mastery, you can change it only by paying the quest giver of your current mastery 150 Gold.
Master of Potions
Accept the 
Master of Potionsquest from your Master Trainer in Hellfire Peninsula.
Travel to the Cenarion Refuge in Zangarmarsh and speak withLauranna Thar’well.
Finish the second Master of Potionsquest with the following objectives:
- Botanist’s Field Guide (fromHigh Botanist Freywinnin Dungeon: The Botanica)
- 5xSuper Healing Potion
- 5xSuper Mana Potion
- 5xMajor Dreamless Sleep Potion
Total materials needed:
If you don’t have them, you can get Recipe: Super Mana PotionandRecipe: Major Dreamless Sleep Potionfrom either Haalrunat Telredor in Zangarmarsh or from Daga Rambaat Thunderlord Stronghold in Blade’s Edge Mountains.
Once the quest is finished, you’ll become aPotion Master. Its the easiest specialization you can choose.
Master of Elixirs
Accept the Master of Elixirsquest from your Master Alchemy trainer in Hellfire Peninsula.
Travel to Shattrath and meet withLorokeemin Lower City.
Finish the second Master of Elixirsquest with the following objectives:
- 10xEssence of Infinity (from Rift Lords and Rift Keepers in Dungeon: The Black Morass, Caverns of Time)
- 5xElixir of Major Defense
- 5xElixir of Mastery
- 5xElixir of Major Agility
Total materials needed:
- 25xTerocone
- 15xAncient Lichen
- 15xNightmare Vine
Once the quest is finished, you are anElixir Master, granting you proc chances when crafting Elixirs.
Master of Transmutation
Accept the Master of Transmutation questfrom your Master Alchemy trainer in Hellfire Peninsula.
Travel to Zarevhiat Stormspire in Netherstorm.
Finish the second Master of Transmutationquest, which will require you to him 4xPrimal Might.
Transmute: Primal Mightrequires one of each of the Primal Elements, which can be expensive.
Once the quest is finished, you are aTransmutation Master, granting you the chance to proc additional elements when transmuting.
