Details about Boel Forge’s early life is not as popular as that of her husband. He was born on March 3rd, 1981 in Linkoping, Sweden. Tobias was exposed to theatre by his older brother, Sebastian Forge from an early age. Yet, his early encounter with religion dimmed the light of faith in his life and pushed him into the ‘hands of Satan’.
He never set out to be the frontman of any band yet after many people rejected his offer of being the lead singer, he automatically had to give life to his dream project, Ghost

He had worked with a Swedish mobile company in the call center at the time he was considering a career shift.
While the band is not the first that the frontman has joined, he showed more commitment to it. In the past, he was part of six other bands like Repugnant and Crashdiet. However, since he formed Ghost, he gained wide success and recognition beyond his native Sweden.

His first alias was the character Papa Emeritus I. The character changed with each album from Papa Emeritus I through III before shifting to the alias, Cardinal Copia.

6. His Identity Was Confirmed Due To a Legal Dispute
Having based the Ghost’s musical work on the anonymity of its members, it was quite surprising when the face behind the mask was finally revealed. This came about after former members of Ghost filed a lawsuit in 2017 against Forge who had been using the character of Papa Emeritus. The preceding lawsuit led to an exposure of the real identity behind the Papa Emeritus personae.
The problem started with a royalty dispute. As per the disagreement that led to the lawsuit, they accused Forge of trying to make the band a solo project and that he had also hired musicians to complete his plan.
He refuted these claims by his former colleagues and claimed that there was no legal partnership with them. Notably, he also pointed to the fact that members of the band were all on salary and most of the work was his project.
7. Boel’s Support for Her Husband’s Band Paid Off With A Grammy
Despite being on the sidelines, her support for Tobias right from the onset paid off big. Ghost won a Grammy for Best Metal Performance with the single Cirice from the album Meliora.

9. Boel Forge Lost Her Brother in Law The Day Ghost Released Its First Demo
Boel and Forge’s love life centers around family support. The death of Tobias’ brother, Sebastian Forge was shocking to the sibling, her husband. Tobias and Sebastian were quite close and like Boel, Sebastian had a great influence on the life of his little brother.
Sebastian who was an accomplished author first introduced the future metal singer to film and music such as Siouxsie and the Banshees among many others. Shockingly, Sebastian Forge died on March 12, 2010, the same day that Ghost released its first demo songs online.
Tobias did not know that his brother had been suffering from a heart condition till it became late. Reportedly, Tobias aka Papa Emeritus put in work into making the Ghost a successful band despite the loss of his older brother.

10. Boel Forge Shares In Her Husband’s Net Worth
Apart from being the wife of Tobias, Boel’s career is not known. She has been in his life and shares in his success story which includes his finances. Tobias Forge’s net worth is estimated at $4 million which he made from his music career of over a decade.
Reportedly, the legal case against him was dismissed after 6 days of trial. The verdict turned in his favor when the court ordered the accusers to pay Forge’s legal fees. Many sources quote his legal fees may be as high as $146 000.
As of now, Tobias is still the frontman of the Ghost band.
